I recently discovered Eat Drink One Woman, a blog that combines three of my favorite things into one saucy convenience package...good food, NYC, and complaining. Brilliant! Among the goodies are restaurant reviews, recipes, witty observations and a hysterical “Maxim-Type Dude's Guide to Getting Laid By Convincing Girl To Come Over For Dinner Even Though Dude Can't Cook Worth Shit!”

Now about the complaining part…anyone can rant, but it takes a special gift to be able to rant well. When EDOW has complaints, they are not empty complaints. These are finely crafted complaints. I can’t help myself, good writing is enjoyable, no matter what, and EDOW is truly enjoyable reading.   (Hmmm...complainertainment?)

Eat Drink One Woman is written by the amazing Ganda, who is not only a writer, but a singer with several different bands. As I browsed the web site, I realized I had also once seen her singing back up vocals for Smokey and Miho at a show in Boston…she is even cooler than I realized.

Anyway, good things must be shared so check it out…it’s delicious!
