I am not Martha Stewart.

I should not have attempted to make the apple pie I saw in the October issue of Martha Stewart Living. What have I gotten myself into? I innocently thought it was a good way to use up all those apples we picked but now I wonder if I was perhaps too ambitious. The oven is pre-heating now, the pie is filled and is bulging alarmingly...shape-wise, it does not look unlike the hat I admired from Agnes B, but I don't think it was supposed to look like that.

I forgot that I don't actually cook.

Somewhere in West Virginia, is Martha laughing in her cell?
