Attaboy, Luther!

Robert and I recently had the pleasure of checking out Tina's Caribbean, a fantastic little family diner-ish space in Providence that specializes in Jamaican cuisine. We've been wanting to try this place for a while, having felt a void after the closing of Rhythm & Spice in Cambridge. Now we can gorge on curries, red snapper, beef patties, ackee, jerk chicken and Ting to our heart's content! Tina was like someone's aunt, beaming approvingly as Robert not only polished off his jerk chicken, but reached across the table and started finishing my curry shrimp plate too. Great funky atmosphere...it was hard to believe we were still in Rhode Island, and not "the islands." We will definitely go back with friends! (Amy and Gerry, line up a sitter for Joseph!)
