Tonight after seeing Zhang Yimou's Hero with Robert, Amy, Gerry and Joe, I picked up a black, thick cable-knit watchman's cap. It's the sort of hat 60's/70's TV thugs wear down at the docks, usually with a matching, sinister black turtleneck and pants. Basically, the perfect look for leaping from the shadows and roughing up that pesky PI who knows too much.

I also plan on picking up the same knit cap in red....paired with the same black turtleneck and pants, you cease to be a dockside thug and suddenly become a French oceanographer.
