Here's a clever commuter gadget that I'm surprised no one has marketed before (except for maybe the Japanese...they seem to have everything first).

Can't reach that subway bar? Not crazy about touching it anyway? The TranStrap is a BYO public transportation strap that you can use on a crowded subway or bus when you just can't reach that bar. And if you can't read your newspaper one handed (you amateur!) there's a Reader Sling add-on that allows you to secure yourself and read with both hands.

I just might have to get one of these.
