This is my "dockside thug" cap, as seen on bad 60's/70's cop shows and in my blog from November 13. As I mentioned previously, it's the sort of black watch cap that burly henchmen wear down at the docks, usually when they spring from behind a barrel to rough up that pesky PI who knows too much. I gleefully acquired this cap for just 6 bucks and change, at a scary discount chain that I will not name.

Red Hat, while it may not be as pretty or chic as you, this is one badass hat and is good to be acquainted with for those days you need a little extra muscle behind you. With friends like these, who needs enemies?
